Current release and product roadmap
Current Stage 1 foundation and planned trucking TMS capabilities
CarrierHelm is being built as a trucking CRM and transportation management platform for small U.S. carriers with 1–20 drivers. The current Stage 1 application focuses on company identity, Owner onboarding, exact driver-seat licensing, predefined roles, invitations, seats, and secure access.
Current-release boundary: Loads, dispatch, driver trip workflows, statements, fleet operations, QuickBooks, fuel, GPS, maps, and operational notifications are planned for later stages and are not available in the current Stage 1 application.

Current onboarding, licensing, and access controls
These capabilities describe the delivered secure application reviewed for the current release.
Current Stage 1
Company identity and Owner onboarding
CarrierHelm establishes the trucking company record and follows a controlled Owner onboarding path before company access is activated.
- Company identity and operating context
- Intentional Owner invitation and activation
- No automatic company provisioning from the public form
Current Stage 1
Exact driver-seat licensing
Commercial entitlement is kept separate from operational role authority, with driver-seat plans organized around 5, 10, or 20 active drivers.
- Available and activated driver-seat tracking
- Seat status checked before driver access
- Staff responsibilities remain separate from paid driver seats
Current Stage 1
Predefined roles, invitations, and seats
Company Owner, General Manager, Dispatch, Accounting, optional Fleet/Safety, and Driver use predefined responsibilities rather than customer-created mixed roles.
- Controlled staff and driver invitations
- Role and membership status checks
- Company-aware access pages
Current Stage 1
Support and audit foundation
The current security foundation includes controlled support-session and audit-viewer paths for authorized platform and company roles.
- Selected company and reason for support access
- Time-limited support-session design
- Authorized audit viewing
Planned for later stages
Operational trucking CRM and TMS roadmap
The following modules describe approved product direction. They are not presented as available in the current Stage 1 application.
Planned
Load dispatch and assignment
Planned operational stages include load creation, driver and equipment assignment, ordered stops, status progress, and exception handling.
Planned
Driver trip and document workflow
Planned stages include a mobile next-action experience, pickup and delivery progress, and configured document gates.
Planned
Driver statements and accounting handoff
Planned stages include statement preparation from approved operational facts and controlled handoff to QuickBooks without replacing it as the accounting system of record.
Planned
Fleet and provider integrations
Planned stages include fleet and maintenance records plus provider-dependent fuel, GPS, maps, email, and notification connections that remain unavailable until configured and released.
What CarrierHelm does not claim today
The current release does not provide load dispatch, trip completion, driver statements, fleet operations, QuickBooks integration, fuel-card data, continuous GPS, ELD replacement, or Hours of Service calculations. Those areas remain later-stage roadmap items.
